Lloyd Farms strives to make the best honey and maple syrup possible for families. Our farm is a family-owned, small business focused on contributing to the future of apiculture.
Lloyd Farms started as a hobby for our parents; Nan and Dennis Lloyd. Additionally, the interest in apiculture is shared by Seth and Evan Lloyd, the sons of Nan and Dennis. Seth followed his passion and wanting to expand his knowledge in all facets of beekeeping. Seth spent several years traveling the US working for a commercial beekeeper, caring for his colonies in pollination and honey production. This job provided Seth not only with a mentor in the beekeeping field, but also with knowledge of how the commercial side of the industry works.
Seth started growing his hobby with the help of Evan and Dennis to get to where it is at today with plans to continue to grow. With the help of Seth and Evans wives; Rachel and Kara, we have expanded our honey market into what it is today; supplying vast number of consumers with raw honey from our farm to their table.
Some of the different crops that we have pollinated are blueberries, oranges, almonds, and cranberries. The majority of our summer honey in our local area is produced from autumn olive, bass wood, milk weed, russian thistle, and late season golden rod. Lloyd Farms strives to provide a pure, raw product. We take great pride in every step of our honey production process and the health/wellbeing of our honeybees.
Lloyd Farms strives to build a future for our children and to teach them the significance of apiculture.
